The Perfect Fit

We offer a thorough, four-part, in-depth fitting process that starts with a personal conversation about your needs and level of activity and talk through any questions or concerns you might have.

We follow that with a gait analysis and 3D foot and pressure scan for a more detailed reading of your foot structure. Once we have a better idea on your foot type, shape and motion our staff will bring out several recommendations and see what works best for you.

What to Expect to Finding the Perfect Fit

STEP 1

A Conversation With You.

Any injuries or foot problems?

  • Heel pain? Pain in the ball of your foot?

  • Knee pain?

  • Bunions?

  • Any pre-existing issues?

  • Blisters or blackened toenails?

  • Do you wear orthotics or other inserts?


  • •  What will you be using the shoes for?

STEP 2

Gait Analysis

  • We ask you to walk to review your natural gait.

  • Typically, the same motion occurs when people run as when they walk. And many of you are just walking in the shoes anyway.

  • We are watching how your body moves. Do your feet roll outward? Or inward? Or do they not roll at all?

  • This evidence helps determine what type of support and/or cushioning you may need, based on the rolling motion of your feet.

  • We then offer you a simple explanation of our findings.


STEP 3

3-D Foot and Pressure Scan

  • The Albert 2 Pro 3D foot scanner uses 4 state-of-the-art Intel® RealSense™ 3D Depth Cameras to capture the most accurate foot data with key measurements related to fit and function.

  •  The pressure plate technology is designed to capture complete foot data about customers' unique pressure points, indicating where they'd be prone to discomfort or pain.


STEP 4

Fitting and Recommendations

  • Based on our findings, we will bring out the shoes that may work best for you.

  • We’ll carefully inspect the fit and watch as you run or walk in each shoe.

  • The right size is about ½ inch of space between the end of your toes and the tip of the shoe. Your foot should feel secure from heel to toe, without any squeezing or pinching.


  • • We will pay attention to the way your foot aligns over the midsole to determine if you need a wide size shoe.

    •  We’ll discuss the options, provide you with our recommendations and answer any questions.
