Get ready for an exciting day of community and fitness at the 43rd Annual Ponchatoula Jaycees Strawberry Strut on Sunday, April 12, 2026! Taking place in the charming town of Ponchatoula, Tangipahoa, this vibrant event invites runners of all levels to participate in a 1-mile fun run, or tackle the more challenging 5K and 10K races. With online registration open until race day, participants can secure their spots for $30 for the 1-mile run and $40 for the 5K and 10K. Plus, all 5K and 10K runners can join the 1-mile run at no additional charge!

Runners can pick up their race packets on Friday, April 10, or on race day from 6:00 am to 7:00 am. Don't forget to grab a specially designed t-shirt, especially if you register by March 20! Every finisher will receive a souvenir medal, and top finishers in each age group will be awarded medals, with a complimentary entry to next year’s race for the overall top runners. After the races, enjoy delicious fresh fruits, refreshing water, and a delightful homemade strawberry shortcake!
