"The Running Reverend" was birthed in the heart of the founder of ALM during a local 5k race. During that race, other participants expressed their amazement to see this man among them, "A Reverend" running with such passion and joy! At this event, he was labeled the "Running Reverend." This event is driven by two main purposes. The first purpose is to help empower the community at large to have a good life through spiritual and physical health. Secondly, the proceeds from this event will help fund a city-wide youth program called S.T.A.R.S., "Students That Are Reaching Success.
