Fall Training begins for anyone wanted to get ready for 5K to the marathon.
There will be runs/maps/workout for all levels. You can chose the one that fits your goals on that day.
VSBR regular group members will be there to help you with where to go and what to do.
RUN NOTES –
a reminder to you regular group members that we are starting back over and building a base. So be patient with the process and don’t try to do too much in Week One.
Lake Erie – for those of you new to the group, Lake Erie is that little lake you probably paid little attention to. It serves as our Lakeside Track – shady, intervals marked and not much traffic. The whole loop is a little over 440 yards – the length around a high school track.
5K Group – Half Mile easy walk/run down shady Kleinert Ave. If that’s not enough challenge for the first day – go a little farther up Kleinert for a Mile.

Here is where those of you with longer goals need to chose the workout that fits your current level of fitness:
3 Miles Easy Run or Walk Run – follow the map down by City Park to Lake Erie. Water break at Jenni’s truck. Easy Run/Walk back to SJA
4 Miles with 3 x 220 workout – warm up with an easy run to Lake Erie. 3 x 220 picking up the pace…not a sprint. Easy recover after each by finishing the Lake loop. Cones will mark start and stops. Water break at Jenni’s truck and back to SJA.
5 Miles with 6 x 220 workout – warm up with an easy run to Lake Erie. 3 x 220 picking up the pace…not a sprint. Easy recover after each by finishing the Lake loop. Water break. 3 x 220, again. Cones will mark start and stops. Back to SJA
