Tailgate Run From City Park Tennis Courts

RUN NOTES

For the regular runners who have been training all summer – 5 Miles is stepping back in miles for a Saturday run. But as mentioned – this starts a rebuilding process. So either get some easy, extra miles in before/after OR run the 5 with emphasis on nailing the correct pace on the 2 x 1 Mile. 

5K – Easy run/walk to shady Todd Garland bench and back. There will be a water stop/break there. Try to pick up the pace coming back.

3 Miles Steady– follow the map to Parade Grounds – loop it – and come back. Water will be on shady Todd Garland Bench.

5 Miles with 2 x 1 Mile Pick Up at 15 seconds slower that goal Half Marathon Pace from Mile 2-3 and 4-5.

Hydration will be at the LSU sign just almost at 3 mile mark.
